The 2022 festival will run from Friday 25 February to Sunday 6 March.&nbsp;4 &#8211; 6 March is what is known as the &#8216;big weekend&#8217;, with the Grand Parade and grape crushing fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biennial festival is a celebration of the Granite Belt region\u2019s produce and booming wine industry.&nbsp;An average of 60,000 people attend the festival and this is arguably Australia\u2019s leading harvest festival having a successful track record spanning five decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHERE IS IT?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s in Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just north of the NSW border.&nbsp;Stanthorpe is less than three hours drive from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Byron, Armidale, Dalby and Goondiwindi, a bit more from the Sunshine Coast,&nbsp;two hours from Lismore and the Northern Rivers, and a comfortable two hours from Toowoomba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A FEAST FOR ALL THE SENSES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Stanthorpe Apple &amp; Grape Festival is a true feast for all the senses. There are 10 days packed with family fun, from street parades to foodies markets, buskers and live entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STANTHORPE&#8217;S FOOD &amp; WINE FIESTA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are so excited to be attending the<em>&nbsp;Food &amp; Wine Fiesta<\/em>&nbsp;again this year. It\u2019s the central meeting point of the festival, laid back, chilling out under the trees, affordable, family-friendly and of course full of food, wine and festival vibes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Queensland Country Bank Food &amp; Wine Fiesta is the hot spot to hang out on the main weekend (the second weekend) of the Stanthorpe Apple &amp; Grape Harvest Festival. Settle in for a day of delicious tastes and music that continues into the cool summer night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Friday 4 March 2022: 5pm to 10pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saturday 5 March 2022: 9am to 10pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunday 6 March 2022: 9am to 6.30pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LOCATION<\/strong>: Weeroona Park, corner of Lock and Marsh Street, Stanthorpe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PARKING<\/strong>: There are plenty of side streets nearby to find a spot to park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FIESTA FUN \u2013 WHAT TO EXPECT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Live music: non-stop entertainers on stage to set the happy vibes and get you up dancing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roving entertainers throughout the park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Granite Belt wineries pouring their wines for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Granite Belt breweries pouring their locally crafted brews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food and market stalls inside the Fiesta and even more spilling out into the streets of the free carnival in the street adjoining the Fiesta (on Saturday and Sunday).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GRAB A FESTIVAL PICNIC GLASS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Our hot tip?&nbsp;<\/em>Buy a $5 festival picnic \u2018glass\u2019 at the Fiesta entry gates. They\u2019re easy to hold, a great size for the wine pours you\u2019ll be enjoying from the many wineries and they are durable enough to be reusable afterwards.
